The StopNCD’s
Project aims to share information about noncommunicable diseases trough
the social media.
The aim of
the project is to create awareness on this matter and share information, between
professionals and also to the major public.
We will share information about events, scientific news, original writing and others.
We hope to
create a social movement that can somehow help to address this major problem of
the 21st century.
This is the
outcome of Ricardo Encarnação internship in the World Health Organization –
Europe, in the noncommunicable diseases division. After that he decided
to create this project and counts with the help of specialists in the NCDs
field in different topics, and hope to have more every day.
